Foodisthebestshitever reunion dinner/pissup… part 1. Three flavour crazy sauce
I awoke this morning to the sight that some rude bastard, probably a local pub owner or something similar, had dumped a shit load of empty bottles on our verandah. Yeah, great start to a Monday. The place looked like a fucking recycling depot. There was ginger beer, wine, various other beers, more wine and…

All for Jen
I seem to be flooding the market a bit here and I do fear the price of foodisthebestshitever stocks may fall a little, but it’s a chance I’m going to have to take… For Jennee (an appreciation post) Just to follow the pack, run with sheeple, copy the carnies etc (and maybe because of a…

Robina Yum Cha and the continuation of Jennee’s Birthday
Anyone who knows me, or thinks they know me, or follows my life through the misty little second story bathroom window that is this blog, will know two things. That I am a fan of the yum cha, and that one day of birthday celebrations is never enough. There are yet undiscovered tribes of pygmies…

Chicken and chorizo… the go to dish at Chateau le Stockdale
Roasted chicken and chorizo. The go-to dish at Chateau le Stockdale, but then, why the hell wouldn’t it be. This is the sort of thing that you could put into the Breville sandwich press and it’s going to come out cracking. Put it on a pizza with cows curd and parsley, in a burger, or…

Steak with onion jam and washed rind cheese
Steak with onion jam and washed rind cheese Are you at home eating your dinner on the couch and watching a movie? No? Well I am… learn a little something from that. Rib eye steak with onion jam and washed rind cheese is easy, yet a little bit classy, much like the up town girl…

A week in the life of Paul’s Caul… Experimenting with men…
What a week of experimenting, playing and generally just having a red hot go…no this has nothing to do with what went on with that boy at school camp, this was last week at work for me and I really do count myself extremely lucky to be able to describe a weeks work in such…

Tofu pad thai for meat free week days…
Sinking into the depths of a meatless existence. My old life seems further and further away. Sometimes I dream about a summer’s day. Everyone is in the backyard, I can hear the laughter of friends and family, the barbeque is smoking away and we jokingly do “I hate rabbits”* as the smoke blows in our…
